As an interdisciplinary lab, we are excited to welcome researchers with interests in biochemistry/biophysics, cell biology, and neuroscience. We emphasize training and effective mentoring, in a supportive environment that is respectful of trainees from all backgrounds.

Technicians:

The Lawrence Lab will be hiring 1-2 technicians beginning January 2025. Desired qualifications include a BA or BS degree, experience with protein purification or cell culture, and a willingness to learn new things!

Graduate Students:

We recruit directly from UCLA graduate programs including the UCLA Graduate Programs in Biosciences umbrella program and the Biochemistry, Molecular and Structural Biology program. If you're already at UCLA and interested in the lab, please reach out to discuss rotation opportunities in 2025.

Postdocs:

Interested postdoctoral candidates should send an email including a CV, a description of your research interests, and why the Lawrence lab would be a good fit for you.

Undergraduates:

The Lawrence Lab will begin taking undergraduate researchers beginning the summer of 2025.
